Senior IAM Consultant (Cybersecurity): Providing expert consulting services for Okta identity environments with an accent on security assessments, incident response, and remediation strategies. Focus on uncovering vulnerabilities, developing security roadmaps, and collaborating with research teams to protect customer identity infrastructure.

Location: Must be based in or near Dallas, Austin, Hoboken, Phoenix, or Ottawa/Toronto (Hybrid model: up to 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Perform security assessments of customer Okta environments including operational and configuration reviews.
• Develop remediation strategies and roadmaps to improve customer security posture.
• Assist the Identity Forensics team with methodology and tool development for incident response.
• Collaborate with Research and Engineering teams to influence product development based on field insights.
• Communicate complex technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Okta and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Proven experience delivering professional services consultation in Okta environments.
• Strong understanding of offensive or defensive security practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in specified office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Knowledge of Active Directory or PingOne.
