Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure/Product)

Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure/Product): Build and own the runtime layer for real-time billing state including alerting, spend controls, entitlement checks, and usage analytics with an accent on low-latency systems engineering and customer-facing API design. Focus on designing scalable primitives and interfaces that integrate real-time billing data to support enterprise and AI customers' critical spend and access decisions.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco Bay Area, New York, or Amsterdam with office presence 3 days/week; remote roles require 1x quarterly in-person attendance. Must be based in the United States or work remotely within the US.

Salary: $165,000–$225,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Own product surface end to end from customer conversations to API design and rollout
• Design and ship granular, flexible alerting and analytics meeting latency SLAs
• Build entitlement and spend-control primitives enforcing real-time billing state
• Shape roadmap and foundational interfaces for other teams
• Collaborate cross-functionally and work directly with enterprise and AI customers

Requirements

• 3+ years software engineering experience with end-to-end product or system ownership
• Strong product instincts and customer empathy in revenue-adjacent domains
• Comfortable designing APIs and data models for internal teams and customers
• Systems depth to reason about real-time and low-latency tradeoffs
• Attention to detail in API design and product UX
• Location: Hybrid in SF Bay Area, New York, or Amsterdam; remote US-based roles require quarterly office visits
