Salary: $165,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform backend development using Python/Django, Kotlin/JVM, SQL, GraphQL, Redis, Postgres, Kafka, and AWS.
• Collaborate with product management, data science, and design to define and build impactful features.
• Work with engineering teams in San Francisco, Toronto, and beyond.
• Participate in in-person hirify.global events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises.
• Contribute to all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to data analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Strong coding abilities in at least one language (Python or Kotlin preferred).
• Experience building and deploying flexible backend systems at scale.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Eagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies.
