What you will do

• Advise senior bankers on diverse merger-related matters and strategic transactions.
• Architect and negotiate structured deal solutions such as M&A collars and cash/stock elections.
• Analyze trading patterns related to activism, merger arbitrage, and index fund trading.
• Synthesize investor feedback, market data, and sell-side research to interpret transaction sentiment.
• Perform financial valuations and analyze the impact of novel transaction structures.
• Oversee and enhance proprietary datasets for marketing and advisory assignments.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York, NY
• Strong familiarity with company valuation concepts like DCF, LBO, and comparable multiples.
• Exceptional quantitative and technical skills, including experience in statistics or data science.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Demonstrated interest in equity markets, corporate finance, and macroeconomic environments.
• Effective project management skills to handle competing deadlines.
