Macro Markets Lead (Web3)

What you will do

• Own the macro vertical, including CPI prints, Fed decisions, GDP forecasts, and geopolitical risk events.
• Identify and prioritize macroeconomic releases and design pipelines for new macro markets.
• Collaborate with market makers and trading firms to structure incentives, fees, and quoting standards to drive liquidity.
• Build reliable, transparent resolution systems using official government data and automated feeds.
• Integrate financial APIs and government datasets to ensure accuracy and resilience of data.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance to launch new macro features.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in macro trading, economic forecasting, or derivatives markets.
• Deep understanding of liquidity mechanics and market microstructure.
• Technical fluency to spec APIs, debug data feeds, and collaborate with engineers.
• Strong product sensibility regarding systems, incentives, and user flows.
• Must be based in New York (On-site).

Nice to have

• Experience at a regulated exchange, derivatives venue, or DCM/DCO.
• Background in quantitative research or market-making.
• Existing relationships with macro data vendors, economists, or research desks.
• Deep obsession with the interplay between macroeconomic data and price.
