Manufacturing Engineer (Siemens NX)

Manufacturing Engineer (Siemens NX): Developing and proving out multi-axis CNC programs for complex naval propulsion components with an accent on digital manufacturing integration using Siemens NX and Teamcenter. What you will do

• Develop and maintain associative NX CAM programs for 3- to 5-axis milling and turning operations.
• Validate toolpaths using VERICUT and NX CSE to ensure collision-free machining.
• Manage manufacturing data and workflows within Teamcenter PLM.
• Optimize machining processes using physics-based simulation and tool life analysis.
• Provide technical support to shop floor operators during prove-outs and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with external partners on post-processor development and workflow automation.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required (must be eligible for DoD Confidential Clearance).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX CAM and foundational knowledge of Siemens 840D controls.
• Experience with VERICUT or similar digital simulation tools.
• Working knowledge of Teamcenter PLM.
• Strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or naval propulsion manufacturing.
• Advanced post-processor customization (NX Post Configurator).
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, C#, MATLAB).
• Experience with MRL buildout and AWC workflow development.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and CMM programming.
