What you will do

• Lead manufacturing strategy and technical direction for aircraft structural assembly and integration.
• Define prototype and production assembly sequencing from concept through flight-test readiness.
• Develop tooling and fixtures for precise, low-volume prototype builds.
• Lead shop-floor root-cause analysis and corrective actions to protect schedule, quality, and structural integrity.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Testing, and Certification teams.
• Mentor manufacturing engineers and technicians and establish manufacturing best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience focused on assembly and integration.
• Experience applying Design for Manufacturability principles to complex assemblies.
• Expertise with CAD, PLM, and MES tools.
• Ability to interpret model-based definitions and GD&T callouts.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Prototype or experimental aircraft experience.
• NX, Teamcenter, or SAP experience.
• Part 23 certification experience.
• eVTOL background.
