What you will do

• Provide technical direction for structural assembly and integration processes, including prototype and production sequencing.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of structural component builds, ensuring manufacturability and compliance.
• Develop tooling strategies and fixtures for prototype builds, balancing precision with rapid evolution.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on the shop floor, leading root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Certification teams to align materials and documentation.
• Mentor manufacturing engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, specifically in assembly and integration.
• Proven track record of driving DFM principles for complex assemblies.
• Expertise in CAD, PLM, and MES tools.
• Ability to interpret model-based definition and GD&T callouts.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience with NX, Teamcenter, and SAP.
• Background in Part 23 certification.
• Previous experience with eVTOL or experimental aircraft.
