What you will do

• Design and develop mechanically integrated components for consumer hardware products.
• Lead complex micro-plastic mechanical solutions, including audio micro-speaker modules.
• Model, build, test, and refine prototypes throughout the product development cycle.
• Collaborate with acoustic transducer design engineers to balance form factor and performance.
• Leverage external teams (CM/JDM/Vendors) to optimize product development.
• Support factory prototype production and oversee build validations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Five years of experience in a related mechanical engineering role.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, NX, GD&T, and statistical tolerance analysis.
• Expertise in DFM/DFA and high-volume manufacturing processes like injection molding.
• Experience in testing and validation, including ESD-aware design and ingress protection.
• Must be able to travel internationally to Asia up to 20% of the time.
