What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of customer-facing and strategic commercial agreements, including SaaS, cloud services, and AI-related offerings.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Security teams to provide creative legal advice and business counsel.
• Develop and implement scalable contracting processes and standard forms to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead strategic pricing initiatives and commercial model optimization efforts.
• Utilize AI-powered legal technology tools to streamline contract management and workflows.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, balancing legal risk with business objectives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing in the United States.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in-house or at a law firm supporting technology transactions.
• Extensive experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of technology, information security, privacy, and intellectual property concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, and contract management software like Ironclad.

Nice to have

• Experience with government technology procurement (GSA, SEWP, FAR) and FedRAMP.
• Basic knowledge of data privacy laws in a SaaS context.
• Understanding of software development, open-source communities, and SaaS infrastructure.
