What you will do
- Negotiate complex global customer, partner, and vendor contracts with minimal escalation.
- Act as a strategic legal advisor to internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and sales teams.
- Provide guidance on legal issues related to AI tools, data privacy, security, and disaster recovery.
- Create and update legal templates and internal policies to support business initiatives.
- Assist with litigation, dispute resolution, and annual risk management assessments.
- Mentor team members and conduct research on evolving legal issues.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active state bar membership in the US required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience negotiating complex SaaS, software licensing, or technology transactions.
- Ability to balance complex legal issues with business needs and customer experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience using AI productivity tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across business functions.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
