Location: Must be based in or able to work from McLean, VA or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Salary: $196,000 – $257,200

What you will do

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and management of SLED agreements, including framework agreements, SaaS contracts, and SOWs.
• Advise on U.S. State and Local government procurement laws and regulations.
• Support the full government sales lifecycle, including RFP/RFI review and risk identification.
• Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams to structure and close deals.
• Advise on adjacent legal areas including data rights, IP, privacy, cybersecurity, and export controls.
• Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance legal support for the sales organization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, ideally combining commercial and SLED transactional experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Expertise in government procurement frameworks and contracting vehicles.
• Demonstrated excellence in contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with export controls, cybersecurity requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-moving environment.
