Senior Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; hybrid attendance once per quarter. U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to obtain TSA Public Trust.

Salary: $116,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable web applications with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and/or Python.
• Design AWS cloud and serverless architectures using services including Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Bedrock.
• Build APIs, microservices, event-driven solutions, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests.
• Use AI-powered development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and specification-driven development.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and contribute to product, release, and project planning.
• Optimize systems for performance, scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency while resolving integration risks and dependencies.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain TSA Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript, plus backend development with Node.js or Python.
• Hands-on AWS experience, including AWS CLI, SAM CLI, cloud architecture, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, Agile methodologies, Docker, and containerized environments such as ECS or EKS.
• Understanding of software security, compliance requirements, and AI-powered or agentic development workflows.

Nice to have

• AWS, security, or related professional certifications.
• Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven AWS patterns, Bedrock, AI agents, RAG, agent orchestration, tool use, MCP, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
• DevOps, monitoring, observability, specification-driven development, open-source AI tooling, Kiro, personal GitHub projects, or Oracle experience.
