What you will do

• Manage, coach, and grow the team of IT Support Engineers, overseeing hiring and performance.
• Own the core IT systems roadmap, including identity and access, Google Workspace, Slack, and the broader SaaS stack.
• Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement to maintain a lean and efficient tool stack.
• Automate manual and repetitive IT workflows to scale operations for a distributed team.
• Lead smooth onboarding and offboarding processes at scale.
• Partner with the Security team to maintain HIPAA compliance and SOC 2 HITRUST certifications.

Requirements

• 7+ years in IT support/operations, including 2+ years of team management experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Apple MDM tools (Jamf or Kandji).
• Must be based in the continental United States.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with executives and senior leadership.
• Player-coach mindset, comfortable with both strategic leadership and technical escalations.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling IT functions within a fast-growing startup environment.
• Background in healthcare with specific knowledge of HIPAA and patient data privacy.
• Experience with infosec, SOC 2, or HITRUST certification processes.
• Proficiency with compliance automation platforms such as Vanta or Drata.
