What you will do

• Build and maintain load forecasts based on AI/GPU growth scenarios and translate them into power capacity and design requirements.
• Analyze unique power profiles of AI/GPU workloads, including transient loads and high density, and their implications for infrastructure.
• Partner with Utility Development and Power Procurement to align load strategy with available capacity.
• Evaluate power supply strategies combining grid supply and on-site/behind-the-meter generation.
• Lead and develop a team of Staff Engineers and set technical standards for load analysis.
• Collaborate with Substation & Grid Engineering on design coordination for high-density loads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8-12+ years of experience in power systems engineering, with exposure to high-density or data center loads.
• Location: Must be based in the US.
• Strong technical understanding of load profiles, power quality, and system studies.
• Demonstrated success leading or mentoring engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with AI/GPU or HPC data center power design.
