Director, Operations Programs & Standards (Data Centers)

Location: Hybrid role based at Keel HQ in New York City, with three days per week in the office

Salary: $185,000–$225,000 USD per year, plus year-end bonus and equity opportunities

What you will do

• Own the portfolio-wide Ops VDR standard, including templates, document control, submittals, and acceptance authority for operator-drafted procedures and site programs.
• Define and maintain KPI definitions, evidence standards, and portfolio-wide verification requirements.
• Govern owner-side CMMS and document management standards, data ownership, audit access, exports, and population acceptance criteria.
• Align operations standards with delivery-side turnover documentation and ensure handover packages are acceptance-ready.
• Perform program-level remote audits of CMMS data, preventive maintenance completion trends, and reporting integrity across sites.
• Standardize the operating model and transition-to-operations playbook as new data center sites come online, beginning with Moses Lake and extending to Sharon and the Pennsylvania/Canada pipeline.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in critical facilities operations, operations programs, or asset management.
• Direct ownership of procedure and document governance and CMMS program standards across a portfolio or multiple sites.
• Experience building standards, templates, acceptance processes, and other program infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong document control, auditing, standards writing, and executive-quality reporting capabilities.
• Ability to govern outsourced FM programs and hold acceptance positions on operator- and delivery-drafted content.
• Availability to work from Keel HQ in New York City three days per week is required.
