Data Center Mechanical Engineer (AI Compute)

What you will do

• Lead design reviews and technical validation for advanced thermal management systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Design and model liquid-first cooling infrastructure, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and distribution piping.
• Perform computational fluid dynamics modeling to optimize airflow and liquid flow, thermal containment, and efficiency.
• Provide engineering guidance during construction and commissioning to optimize mechanical system performance and PUE/WUE.
• Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and corporate sustainability requirements.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience designing, constructing, and commissioning large-scale HVAC or critical cooling systems.
• Proven experience with water-side design, fluid dynamics, and pumping systems.
• Professional Engineer license or equivalent chartership is preferred.
• Direct experience with liquid-to-chip or rear-door heat exchanger cooling systems is preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
