Fullstack Developer (Ruby on Rails/React)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with 10+ days per month in the office determined by managers and teams

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for the Cash Forecasting platform, contributing to frontend work when needed.
• Develop and scale a multi-tenant SaaS codebase for enterprise customers and high-volume financial data.
• Own schema design, query performance, data integrity, and PostgreSQL-based data workflows.
• Build test coverage with RSpec, package and deploy services with Docker, and work with AWS infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive work, support data migrations, and implement logging, metrics, tracing, benchmarking, and profiling.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers; participate in technical design, code reviews, and the on-call pager rotation.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of professional software development experience, ideally with a backend-focused full-stack profile.
• Strong SQL fundamentals and hands-on PostgreSQL experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
• Experience working safely in large existing codebases, using Git collaboratively, and writing scripts for automation and tooling.
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies and RSpec testing.
• Experience using AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience.
• Frontend experience with React.
• Experience with AWS, multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms, observability, performance profiling, or financial systems such as treasury, payments, FX, or ERP.
