What you will do

• Drive architectural decisions for the platform, balancing scalability, maintainability, and rapid deployment.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers to foster technical growth and leadership.
• Partner with Product and Customer Success teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize machine learning models for the GSmart AI engine to improve cash flow prediction accuracy.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and deployment processes to increase team velocity.
• Own critical systems end-to-end, from design through production support and incident response.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Ruby on Rails and expert-level knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL).
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, including mentoring engineers and leading architectural designs.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model (10+ days a month in-office).

Nice to have

• Understanding of financial concepts like cash positioning, liquidity management, and payment rails.
• Experience with financial data formats such as SWIFT, MT940, or BAI2.
