Senior Software Engineer (Ruby)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Develop technical plans and contribute to the architecture of products serving tens of millions of people daily.
• Build backend and frontend systems for Fin’s AI customer support platform.
• Write Ruby code integrating AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
• Deliver changes to production from the first day and ship features rapidly through automated deployment processes.
• Work with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts to solve customer problems.
• Mentor engineers and participate in interviewing as the team grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, preferably building SaaS products.
• Demonstrated significant impact on a product or engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers and delivering value to customers or users.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from Dublin, Ireland, with at least three office days per week.
