What you will do

• Create and maintain bills of manufacture in the ERP system.
• Design tools and fixtures to optimize production processes.
• Program complex jobs on 5-axis CNC machines using Esprit CAM software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot shop floor issues and resolve non-conforming materials.
• Analyze machine data to maximize OEE and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead new product integration efforts within the machine shop.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Thomaston, CT.
• Extensive machining experience and strong understanding of machining processes.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and CNC programming software (Esprit).
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work near operating machinery.
• Willingness to travel domestically for vendor audits and process qualifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with rotating machines.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S).
