What you will do
- Lead process development and validation for new and existing manufacturing processes; create and maintain SOPs, control plans, and process specifications.
- Analyze production data and metrics to drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and throughput enhancement.
- Investigate process deviations, nonconformances, and quality concerns using structured root-cause methodologies.
- Collaborate with Quality and Production to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement new equipment, materials, and process controls to maintain manufacturing capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or closely related).
- 5–7 years of experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in metallurgy and materials science; experience with vacuum coating, electroforming, plating, thin-film deposition, or precision finishing preferred.
- Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC), process capability analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma.
- Ability to produce engineering documentation and technical reports; proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and GD&T.
- U.S. Person required (U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, or equivalent as defined by ITAR).
