Program Analyst (Finance)

Location: Remote within Canada (Ontario), must be within Central to Atlantic time zones

Compensation: $23.40 - $40.55 per hour (CAD)

What you will do

• Prepare invoices and track program financials with high accuracy.
• Review COGS, expenses, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate data sets and identify discrepancies.
• Analyze and present data using Excel and reporting tools.
• Leverage AI tools such as Copilot and Claude to support analysis and reporting.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and support program activities in Indigenous communities.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Strong financial acumen in invoicing, reporting, or expense tracking.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Experience using AI tools like Copilot or Claude.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Must be based in Canada (Central to Atlantic time zones).

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI.
• Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, or working with Indigenous communities.
