Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A (SaaS)

Location: Toronto, Ontario; hybrid, with an expectation to reside within commutable distance of the specified office and attend weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly team events.

Salary: CAD 81,000–99,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits; non-overtime eligible.

What you will do

• Develop financial tools for topline, new revenue, churn, cost-efficiency targets, and GTM capacity planning.
• Build scenario plans and upside and downside projections across quarterly, annual, and multi-year planning horizons.
• Design Budget vs Actual reporting and analyze market, customer, product, revenue, and GTM cost trends.
• Partner with GTM leaders on actual costs and forecasting, and support month-end close, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis for product launches, strategic partnerships, and major capital investments.
• Collaborate with data and technology teams to automate analytics and centralized FP&A reporting, while identifying AI use cases and maintaining accurate accruals with Accounting.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Strategy, or similar responsibilities.
• Experience with technology or SaaS industry revenue.
• Significant experience designing and implementing BI or visualization platforms, FP&A platforms such as IBM Planning & Analytics or Workday Adaptive, and advanced Excel functionality including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience building new financial tools or models across the full lifecycle, from ideation and design through implementation and sustainability.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, data contextualization, understanding of data models, and the ability to trace data flows across systems for accurate reporting.
• Proactive, adaptable self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work effectively with teammates.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, sound business judgment, and alignment with a high-performance culture focused on Passion, People, and Performance.

Nice to have

• Experience working with go-to-market functions such as Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Customer Support, or Marketing.
• Experience adapting AI use cases.
