Location: Onsite at CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Edit multiple fast-moving financial market stories each day.
• Assign and edit investing stories and newsletters.
• Edit enterprise pieces and help reporters build engaging narratives.
• Develop story ideas with reporters, including quotes, facts, and visuals.
• Identify market trends and news opportunities for coverage.
• Manage and provide constructive feedback to reporters.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of financial news editing experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports or a team of journalists.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and company financials.
• Ability to edit for speed and quality while providing constructive feedback.
• Experience covering breaking news in competitive environments.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• Deep interest in business news and financial markets.
• Experience writing and editing financial market coverage.
