What you will do

• Own the top-tier sponsored event portfolio, including opportunity evaluation, sponsorship negotiation, and on-site execution.
• Design and launch proprietary Bluehost branded events such as roadshows, executive series, and community meetups.
• Manage the lead-generation motion, including scanner setup, sales handoff, and post-event nurture in partnership with marketing operations.
• Build frameworks for testing new product-market bets through low-cost event pilots.
• Represent the field team in cross-functional planning with sales, product marketing, and partnerships.
• Travel domestically as required to manage major event moments and on-site production.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel domestically.
• 4-6 years of experience in event or field marketing with clear program ownership.
• Proven track record of driving measurable demand-generation and pipeline outcomes.
• Experience designing and producing proprietary or owned events.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor benches.
• Comfort partnering with sales and demand-generation teams on lead qualification and reporting.

Nice to have

• Background in SMB SaaS, Hosting, or the WordPress community.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Budget ownership experience of $500K+.
• Familiarity with hybrid event formats and cross-channel activation.
