What you will do

• Own and improve data models supporting lending decisions, pricing, and investor reporting.
• Drive the development of dbt models and the transformation layer to accelerate insight generation.
• Define modelling patterns, architecture, and implementation standards across the analytics engineering layer.
• Mentor analysts and an analytics engineer to improve technical habits and data effectiveness.
• Act as a bridge between analysts, backend engineers, and product teams to ensure effective data usage.
• Scale data infrastructure to support the requirements of a rapidly growing business.

Requirements

• Must be based in London and able to work from the office Tuesday-Thursday.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ELT pipelines at scale using dbt.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong data modelling skills with a focus on reliability and usability.
• Ability to independently identify and improve inefficiencies in data workflows.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate engineering and analytical workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Fintech or scale-up experience.
