Salary: $27.98 - $33.41 hourly

What you will do

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments to prevent injuries.
• Implement data-driven safety programs and innovative solutions to enhance workplace safety.
• Deliver engaging safety training to associates to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing across all organization levels.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 lbs and walking for up to 12 hours per shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of EHS experience OR a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-relevant field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in West Sacramento, CA.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field.
• Experience in workers compensation case management.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Experience leading and managing teams.
