What you will do

• Assist in developing, implementing, and auditing EHS policies and procedures.
• Manage hazardous and universal waste streams, including proper storage, handling, and disposal.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DEP, and DOT regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and routine site inspections.
• Lead safety and environmental training sessions for employees.
• Support the EHS Manager in wellness, workers compensation, and emergency preparedness programs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Fulton, NY.
• Undergraduate degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex environmental regulations and procedure manuals.
