What you will do
- Serve as primary EHS contact for factory areas, providing daily floor support and real-time risk identification.
- Support new equipment installation and process changes through EHS reviews and Management of Change (MOC) participation.
- Lead hazard identification and risk assessments, including JSA/JHA and ergonomic reviews.
- Investigate EHS incidents and near misses using root cause analysis to define and verify effective corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and corporate EHS standards through internal audits and inspections.
- Deliver EHS training and coach staff on safe work practices and risk-based decision making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field (or extensive equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of EHS experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools, Job Safety Analysis, and work permitting.
- Work authorization in the US without sponsorship is required.
- Legal authorization to access controlled technology under US Export Administration Regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience with Crane and Hoist operations.
- Experience with Powered Trucks training.
- Electrical Safety experience.
