What you will do

• Own AI features end-to-end from problem definition to general availability.
• Build and defend evaluation baselines, including golden datasets and north-star metrics.
• Lead the semantic stack development, including retrieval quality and embedding optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product pods to define requirements and success measures.
• Implement online monitoring to ensure feature consistency and reliability in production.
• Engage directly with product users to understand customer problems and iterate on solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of shipping ML/LLM-powered features to production.
• Deep knowledge of LLM application engineering, including RAG and agentic workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks, offline harnesses, and online monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern backend stacks like Node.js, NestJS, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with vector search and knowledge-graph stores.
• Experience using AI coding tools like Cursor or Copilot in daily workflows.
