Salary: $219,705 – $274,631 USD

What you will do

• Identify and prototype emerging AI research to shape the hirify.global AI technical roadmap.
• Build and maintain full-stack systems, from backend data pipelines to frontend interfaces.
• Define technical direction and resolve architectural tradeoffs across product, data platform, and go-to-market teams.
• Take ownership of production reliability, including on-call rotation and SRE practices.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers to act as a technical multiplier across the department.
• Contribute to hiring and shape the interview process for the engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of programming experience in Python and/or Java.
• Proven ability to work fluidly across the full stack (backend, frontend, SRE, QA).
• Deep product and market awareness with the ability to evaluate AI research for production viability.
• Experience with SQL and modern data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Track record of defining technical direction with high independence in a startup-like environment.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Denver, CO.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-powered applications (RAG, embeddings, evaluation frameworks).
• Familiarity with semantic layers like dbt or LookML.
• Background in SRE, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
