Senior Inventory Planner (AI)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end launch planning for products entering the UK and EU, including initial buy sizing, launch sequencing, and purchase-order recommendations.
• Use forecasting models, demand signals, and algorithmic recommendations to make replenishment decisions and improve planning inputs.
• Manage purchase orders from creation through delivery, including adjustments, expediting, vendor follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Partner with merchandising, sourcing, production, vendors, and international planning counterparts on assortment, lead times, capacity, and launch execution.
• Build launch-readiness trackers, dashboards, status updates, and repeatable planning rhythms for new markets.
• Surface trade-offs early and use market signals to scale winners, reduce losses, and improve inventory turns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in inventory, demand, supply, or merchandise planning.
• Hands-on experience sizing launch buys, reading early sell-through data, and making rapid replenishment decisions.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting and replenishment logic for new-product contexts, with quantitative ability to evaluate algorithmic recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience managing purchase orders end-to-end with global vendors.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills with vendors, merchandising, sourcing, production, and planning partners.
• Experience using and implementing AI in day-to-day work is required.

Nice to have

• Experience planning for a launch market, new geography, or new business line, especially in the UK or EU.
• Background at a high-growth DTC or e-commerce brand with global sourcing.
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Anaplan, or comparable planning and ERP systems.
• Data fluency and experience working with mixed lead-time profiles.
• Experience in fashion, home, or other category-rich retail verticals.
