Senior Demand Lead (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Reading, UK; hybrid work with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates must already have the right to work in the UK or may be considered for visa support on a case-by-case basis.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the five-step Integrated Business Planning process at market level.
• Align Demand Planning, Business Units, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply stakeholders around one integrated business plan.
• Coordinate product launches, regulatory and commercial topics, and ensure accurate information is reflected in planning tools.
• Monitor sales performance, OTIF, MAPE, BIAS, inventory and write-off KPIs using AI and digital reporting tools.
• Optimize working capital and cash flow through reviews of inventory targets, lead times and end-to-end supply flows.
• Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and manage obsolescence, destruction and returns mitigation actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Successful experience in supply chain or manufacturing, with strong knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes.
• English language skills and the right to work in the UK are required; visa cases will be considered according to business needs and resources.
• Experience with scenario planning, risk and benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving.
• Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Systems and project management experience; SAP and Kinaxis knowledge is preferred, along with an understanding of manufacturing finance and regulatory processes.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory processes and requirements.
