Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (E-commerce)

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day communication and performance tracking for a portfolio of international suppliers.
• Build and manage RFQ packages, qualify new suppliers, compare quotations, and support evidence-based sourcing recommendations.
• Run consumables new product development projects from brief to first production, coordinating samples, specifications, packaging, approvals, and timelines.
• Collect supplier compliance and quality documentation, support traceability and product registration requirements, and coordinate testing and inspections.
• Maintain sourcing, supplier, product, and ERP-ready data, and report on RFQ pipelines, savings, NPD status, and supplier performance.
• Develop toward greater commercial responsibility, including negotiations and category ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, buying, supplier management, international trade, or a comparable supplier-facing role.
• Fluent, confident written and spoken English.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including comparison models, lookups, and pivot tables, plus effective use of AI tools for research, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong project management, attention to detail, supplier communication, escalation, and documentation skills.
• Remote work from Venezuela.

Nice to have

• Experience with food safety and quality requirements such as HACCP, GFSI/BRC, FDA, or equivalent regimes.
• Experience in supplements, food, personal care, or another regulated consumables category.
• Experience with manufacturers in Asia or suppliers in Latin America and South Asia.
• Exposure to NetSuite or another ERP system and to e-commerce or Amazon-native businesses.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
