Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java and .NET.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices with Spring Boot and ASP.NET Core.
• Work across the full backend stack including business logic, data access, and integrations.
• Write clean, well-tested code using JUnit and xUnit/NUnit frameworks.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or Cursor to maintain quality and security.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with .NET development including C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance if required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• Understanding of federal security and compliance requirements.
