Senior Game Designer (7 Days to Die)

hirify.global develops interactive entertainment and is collaborating with The Fun Pimps on the 7 Days to Die survival franchise.

What you will do

• Design, iterate, and optimize gameplay, 3C, core systems, progression, and economy features.
• Create clear design specifications and documentation for owned features and systems.
• Build and tune data structures and game systems throughout the live-service lifecycle.
• Create and maintain simulation tools for balancing game variables and playable characters.
• Balance gameplay and systems using internal and player feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the video game industry, including 2+ years as a systems designer.
• Proficiency with Unity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel simulations, predictive calculations, data modeling, and analytical work.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate ideas through flowcharts, feature specifications, and data reports.
• Strong interest in competitive team games and games-as-a-service practices.
