What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end bid and tender process for all approved opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
• Review opportunities and determine the level of effort required for successful submissions.
• Ensure bids comply with customer requirements, internal governance, and industry standards.
• Analyze costs and pricing to maintain competitiveness while supporting profitability.
• Maintain the bids pipeline and provide KPI reporting to senior management.

Requirements

• Degree or HNC qualification in an Engineering or Technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing bids, tenders, and technical proposals within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, including interpreting drawings and bills of materials.
• Experience working with tender portals and formal procurement processes.
• Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Stockton-on-Tees and travel for customer meetings as required.
