DevSecOps Engineer (AI)

Location: London, UK; hybrid

Salary: £80K–£120K per year plus equity

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-quarter security roadmap across the engineering organization.
• Build and maintain platform-level security tools that enable automated, self-service security for feature teams.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD and cloud deployment workflows with Core Tech.
• Assess security posture across teams and identify high-risk technical debt.
• Own and mature detection, SIEM, and incident-response tooling.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with IT on AI-usage risks, including connector and agent data exposure and prompt injection.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and AWS security practices.
• Experience designing self-service platforms that developers adopt.
• High proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Familiarity with agent-based and AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong communication, pragmatic decision-making, and the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Experience balancing leadership with hands-on technical execution and mentoring engineers.
