What you will do

• Lead investigation and response activities for security incidents and emerging threats.
• Design and improve security monitoring and detection capabilities within the AWS environment.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plan (SSP) packages for FedRAMP compliance.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Perform security assessments of third-party vendors and SaaS platforms.
• Partner with product and technology teams to strengthen security controls and design secure solutions.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and residency in the USA required.
• 5+ years of experience in security operations, engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Strong expertise in AWS architecture, security services, and cloud best practices.
• Proven experience with incident response, threat detection, and forensic investigations.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
• Proficiency in managing security across macOS, Linux, and Windows environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat modeling programs and security automation workflows.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
