Senior Security Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; US citizenship and residence on US soil required

What you will do

• Investigate and respond to security incidents, suspicious activity, and emerging threats.
• Design and improve security monitoring, detection, alerting, and response capabilities across AWS environments.
• Conduct post-incident reviews, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
• Assess vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, third-party risks, and compliance exposures, and communicate recommendations.
• Partner with Technology and Product teams on secure solutions, threat modeling, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
• Maintain the FedRAMP System Security Plan package, oversee continuous monitoring in US jurisdictions, and report security and privacy status to external entities.

Requirements

• US citizenship and residence on US soil
• 5+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or a similar cybersecurity role.
• Strong experience with security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, forensic investigations, and security event analysis.
• Deep knowledge of network security, application security, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, and AWS security services.
• Experience with macOS, Linux, and Windows, plus security automation and cloud security solutions.
• Experience supporting FedRAMP certification and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR.

Nice to have

• Experience with threat modeling, security automation workflows, or third-party vendor and SaaS assessments.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, Security+, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
