Maintenance Planner

TL;DR

Maintenance Planner (Industrial Engineering): Developing and managing maintenance schedules and project plans for district energy infrastructure with an accent on reliability-centered maintenance and CMMS utilization. Focus on coordinating work priorities, tracking project progress, and ensuring operational efficiency in a power plant environment.

Location: Must be based in Baltimore, MD (Onsite)

Salary: $32.60 per hour plus 10% bonus target

What you will do

• Facilitate planning meetings to establish work priorities and project deadlines.
• Monitor maintenance project progress through regular customer site visits.
• Manage work order backlogs and distribute performance reports to management.
• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize critical maintenance tasks.
• Update schedules and equipment data within the CMMS platform.
• Assist in developing long-term project milestones and outage scopes.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination within an industrial or power plant setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.
• Valid driver license in good standing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in confined spaces or extreme temperatures.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Maximo CMMS.
• Experience with CAD 2000, SQL, and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of mechanical and piping systems.
