What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Develop, revise, and maintain comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Perform intake and readmission services, providing supportive follow-up counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, local, and accrediting agency requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related Human Services field.
• Compliance with federal and state regulations regarding certification, licensure, and degree.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with proper judgment.
• Capacity to make effective decisions and react quickly in stressful situations.
• Understanding of human behavior and the substance abuse population.
