Counseling Supervisor (Addiction Treatment)

Salary: $80,000–$83,000 annually plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance, coaching, and supervision to counselors.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions and complete required counseling documentation.
• Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress.
• Oversee case management, coordinated care, community-provider collaboration, and crisis response.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, conduct peer chart reviews, and monitor service quality and regulatory compliance.
• Lead weekly supervision and treatment-team meetings, deliver training, and support counselors’ licensure and career development.

Requirements

• LADC Supervisor certification is required.
• Compliance with federal and state requirements for certification, licensure, and degree.
• Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, counseling techniques, and treatment planning.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation.

Nice to have

• Leadership, coaching, mentoring, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting professional licensure, certification, or clinical development.
