What you will do

• Manage and supervise the IFRS Accounting Team (4 subordinates).
• Perform IFRS accounting for complex transactions and intra-group transactions (business acquisitions, consolidations, financial statement disclosures).
• Run period-end closing procedures.
• Partner with Audit & Compliance to ensure IFRS, GAAP, and tax compliance.
• Supervise standalone financial statements for all legal entities and submit them to external auditors.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS and respond to external auditors’ requests; lead accounting process improvements and automations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IFRS accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in large international groups as a Chief Accountant, IFRS Team Lead, or as an Auditor in a Big Four firm.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial reporting standards.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• DipIFR or ACCA qualification.
• Experience with Xero and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
