Technical Accounting Manager (IFRS)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with 3 days per week in the London office. Right to work in the UK required.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation of IFRS 18 and support the continued development of the Group IFRS accounting policy framework.
• Assess new transactions and commercial arrangements under IFRS 15, IFRS 2, IFRS 3, and other applicable standards.
• Research, analyse, and document complex accounting matters, producing clear and audit-ready conclusions.
• Work with international finance stakeholders to ensure consistent application of IFRS across the group.
• Support year-end reporting, external audit coordination, consolidated IFRS financial statements, and subsidiary statement reviews.
• Manage technical accounting projects from initial research through final conclusions and documentation.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong post-qualification experience in technical accounting, preferably in a complex or multinational organisation.
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and experience applying complex accounting standards.
• Experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters and developing accounting policies or technical positions.
• Strong analytical, judgement, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work from the London office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing IFRS 18 or another significant new accounting standard.
