What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end software delivery strategy, roadmap, and execution for mission-critical platforms.
• Drive the modernization of legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native architectures using AWS and event-driven patterns.
• Scale and mentor a high-performing global engineering organization while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Partner with product and business leadership to align technical delivery with long-term transformation goals.
• Implement engineering best practices for CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.
• Integrate AI-assisted development practices to accelerate release cycles and improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience with significant senior leadership roles managing large, global teams.
• Proven track record in modernizing large-scale enterprise platforms and transforming legacy systems.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kafka, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year transformation initiatives in high-volume environments.
• Must be based in or able to work from Newark, NJ.

• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or highly regulated environments.
• Strong background in DevOps, SRE, and modern observability practices.
• Experience with composition platforms like OpenText Exstream or Adobe.
