What you will do

• Collaborate with Account Executives to strategize and plan for deal success throughout the pre-sales process.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer challenges and map them to Twilio's capabilities.
• Design technical architectures and provide creative solutions for complex communication and engagement needs.
• Build and deliver powerful product demonstrations and technical presentations for both executive and technical audiences.
• Manage Proof-of-Concepts (PoC), respond to RFPs, and create design documentation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and technical decision-makers at strategic accounts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role within CPaaS, SaaS, or Telecom.
• Solid understanding of voice protocols (VoIP), SIP implementations, or messaging APIs.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud application architectures.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and coding in backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) or web (JS, React) languages.
• Must be based in the UK or Ireland.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with backend development.
• Familiarity with mobile development for iOS and Android.
• Previous experience with WebRTC, Contact Centers, or specific sales methodologies.
• Experience with automation and cloud-native development.
