Location: Bangsar South, Malaysia. Must be willing to work outside of regular business hours or adjust schedule to accommodate time zone differences.

What you will do

• Prepare and ensure timely accounts closing and accurate financial statements.
• Perform monthly financial analysis including revenue, gross profit margins, and expense fluctuations.
• Manage cash flow analysis and projections to optimize liquidity and plan for future needs.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax laws, and MAS safeguarding requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Drive continuous process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or R2R functions.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate global time zones.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA).
• Experience with MAS reporting obligations for Singapore-regulated entities.
