What you will do

• Lead global bonus and sabbatical accounting activities, ensuring accurate expense recognition under ASC 710.
• Translate program designs and policy changes into effective accounting processes and policies.
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting results for balance sheet accounts.
• Lead forecasting, scenario analysis, and management reporting to provide business insights for finance leaders.
• Maintain and enhance SOX controls, accounting policies, and desktop procedures.
• Manage, coach, and develop team members while driving operational excellence across matrixed global teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, including compensation-related accounting or controllership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, specifically ASC 710 or equivalent.
• Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams in a complex environment.
• Proven expertise in internal controls, close processes, and financial reporting.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC and related finance systems.
• Background in leading automation, ERP, or finance transformation initiatives.
