What you will do

• Own and coordinate the monthly financial close for multiple entities, ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances to evaluate business impact.
• Draft and maintain accounting policies and technical memos based on US GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborate with Tax, FP&A, and Treasury teams to ensure proper treatment of complex transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the closing cycle.
• Analyze the impact of local accounting entries on group consolidation, including intercompany transactions and FX effects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Solid experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience owning end-to-end monthly close processes across multiple entities.
• Solid understanding of consolidation concepts (intercompany eliminations, FX/CTA).
• Must be based in Brazil for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with international structures and different functional currencies.
• Exposure to process automation or data tools.
• MBA or specialization in Accounting/Finance.
• Fluent English.
