Quality Engineer (Motors and Generators)

TL;DR

Quality Engineer (Motors and Generators): Managing end-to-end quality for key customers in the Motion High Power division with an accent on quality process improvement and customer satisfaction. Focus on performing root cause analyses, executing cross-functional quality projects, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS).

Location: Helsinki, Finland. Hybrid working model with on-site presence of approximately 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end quality for key customer accounts.
• Identify critical quality issues and initiate improvement impulses.
• Lead and execute cross-functional quality projects.
• Ensure product quality through systematic problem-solving, containment, and preventive actions.
• Conduct root cause analyses and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Report quality metrics and results to internal leadership and customers.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
• Experience in product or process quality improvement.
• Proficiency with quality analysis tools, specifically Minitab.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Finnish.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for customer-facing situations.
