What you will do

• Own the end-to-end billing and accounts domain, including processing and pricing for creators in 170+ countries.
• Lead and coach a team of 5-6 billing engineers, scaling the team as the domain expands.
• Execute the billing roadmap, specifically completing a major pricing model migration.
• Establish payments industry standards and guide architectural decisions to ensure system stability.
• Partner with Product and Finance directors on scalability and tax compliance initiatives.
• Foster healthy engineering practices, clear ownership, and transparency within the team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building billing, payments, or subscription systems in a SaaS environment.
• Proven track record in people management, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong engineering background with the ability to review architecture and identify design risks.
• Experience operating in fast-paced environments while introducing structure and maturity.
• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.

• Experience with tax, compliance, or revenue recognition in SaaS.
• Experience restructuring or scaling engineering teams.
• Experience leading major platform or pricing migrations.
